Women for Greater Philadelphia, Inc. a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation of volunteers, are the stewards of the historic  Laurel Hill Mansion, the creators of cultural events, educational programs  & preservers of history.

Volunteer

Women for Greater Philadelphia, the stewards of Laurel Hill Mansion rely on volunteers. They help with special events, serve on committees and give tours and greet visitors at Laurel Hill Mansion during busy times.

Help Preserve and Maintain Laurel Hill Mansion and its Grounds

Built before the Revolution in 1767 Laurel Hill Mansion is a window into our past. Monies donated help Women for Greater Philadelphia maintain and preserve the house and grounds for future generations.

Bette Young Education Fund

Named for the longtime chair of the Women for Greater Philadelphia Education Committee, donations to our education program help us bring history alive in order to help illuminate the present.

We have hosted concerts at Laurel Hill Mansion since 1976. We host visual arts programs, literary programs, women history programs and even provide a place for young and old to play chess.
