Founded as the Rawle Law Office in 1783 by William Rawle, one of the owners of Laurel Hill Mansion. In 1915, the firm became Rawle & Henderson and is recognized as the oldest law firm in continuous practice in United States.
Penn Mutual
Started back in 1847 in Philadelphia, Penn Mutual has been in business for 175 years and was one of the original supporters of Women For Greater Philadelphia the Stewards of Laurel Hill Mansion providing them with an office at 530 Walnut Street.
