The Women for Greater Philadelphia will be serving tea and selling gingerbread men and women.  Enjoy our live Christmas tree, beautiful decorations, Gingerbread house created by the Culinary Arts Department at Montgomery Community College and our volunteers dressed in colonial garb.

PHLASH Service:
The Holiday Houses Loop provides service every Thursday – Sunday, December 1 – 18, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.


Simply park your car at one of the houses in East Fairmount Park and hop on PHLASH to see the houses. Philadelphia residents and visitors can hop on PHLASH at any one of their downtown stops and transfer to the Holiday Houses Loop at Stop 11 (West Entrance to the Philadelphia Museum of Art). For access to West Fairmount Park, visitors can use the Philadelphia Zoo/Please Touch Museum Loop (also at Stop 11) which will drop off visitors just a short distance from Cedar Grove.
$5 for all day pass (Exact change required if buying on board)
Children 4 and under and seniors are always FREE.
SEPTA pass and key card holders ride FREE.

12 days of Christmas holiday decoration at Laurel Hill Mansion Philadelphia PA

The Twelve Days of Christmaswas the 2015 theme for the holiday decorations of the historic houses of Fairmount Park.


There were demonstrations of the spinning of fibers into yarn on a spinning, music and volunteers in period costumes. will be on hand to give tours


The beautiful 2015 Christmas Tree at Laurel Hill Mansion was donated by Bustard Tree Farm who also supplied the tree for the White House this year

Image of the facade of Laurel Hill Mansion with winter holiday decorationsThe Charms of Yesteryear was our 2014 theme for the historic houses of Fairmount Park holiday tours Chamber music, the sounds of the holidays on our historic fortepiano, marvelous decorations created by the Community Garden Club at Wayne including a live 14 ft. Frazier fur Christmas tree were featured at Laurel Hill Mansion during the 2014 holiday season. Complimentary tea was served costumed guides. Gingerbread men and women prepared by the Culinary Arts Institute of Montgomery County Community College were be for sale and will be again during the 2015 holiday tours.
